Round 2: Chart protocol — title, axis labels, highest/lowest, change over time — fill grid. Round 3: Language frames — increased by, decreased from, compared to, the majority of — oral drill. Round 4: Data commentary paragraph — 5–6 sentences: introduce chart, state 2 statistics, interpret trend, link to issue, student implication. Round 5: 60-second presentation — one finding with pointing to chart (paper or projected). Round 6: Peer check — did commentary match chart or invent numbers? Strict accuracy rule.
